Thanks. It was actually probably a paraphrase of Darcy's recollection of your statement...but it got the point across. And it's so true! However you put it, the gospel is not out there to keep us comfortable. Jesus wants to empower us to be His instruments to save lives.

Yeah, it was great. Karen certainly has a way of getting the point across! She and Joe made a great combination!

Thanks for sharing and for the encouragement, Karen. God has a funny way of teaching us sometimes, but I know I often need to be reminded that I'm better off depending on Him than myself...or anyone else for that matter. So...

Eric - I am glad you are learning to say "no" to some things- even though I'm sad about Inside Worship. Part of my spiritual growth has been coming to terms with the fact that things don't have to be perfect, and I don't have to be in the center of everything. God was teaching me to depend more completely on Him--and when I let go of some of the responsibilities I had thought were so important, God was able to increase my dependence and openness to His leading. Hang in there. K

Believe me, Tracy, there are other things I would have rather said "no" to! But, the family has to eat and have a place to live and other boring stuff like that :D

Thanks for the encouragement and for reading over the past year or so. I'll be looking forward to the opportunity to get back into it.

Here's to balance...

Eric - glad you are able to say "no" to something and try to find a balance that works for you & your family. Keep it up!
