Part of my spiritual growth has been coming to terms with the fact that things don't have to be perfect, and I don't have to be in the center of everything. God was teaching me to depend more completely on Him--and when I let go of some of the responsibilities I had thought were so important, God was able to increase my dependence and openness to His leading.
